Great opportunity to join a global NA Corporate Group as the Procurement Manager –  Professional Services.   Strategically partner with key stakeholders and regional procurement staff to drive out complexity and cost, improve working capital and guarantee acceptable supplier performance levels.  Indirect Services spend categories include HR, legal or financial services, marketing, fleet, travel and entertainment and certain industrial services and supplies. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

--- Develop, lead and execute regional or global supply strategies in coordination with key functional stakeholders and regional procurement staff within a variety of Indirect Professional Services categories that may include HR, legal or financial services, marketing, fleet, travel and entertainment and certain industrial services and supplies. 
--- Develop and manage to annual cost savings, working capital improvement and supplier performance targets. 
--- Lead cross-functional supplier qualification and sourcing activities ensuring the engagement of and buy in from key stakeholders and the regions through the process. 
--- Vendor qualification and selection, developing and implementing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, identifying and implementing cost savings opportunities, improving working capital through negotiation of extended pay terms, ensuring supply continuity and service levels.
--- Oversee acceptable supplier performance with stakeholders and the regions.  Utilize a cross-functional business review process to pro-actively identify and resolve supplier performance issues and to implement opportunities for improvement of stakeholder services.
--- Lead cross-functional efforts to identify and implement cost reduction opportunities including, but not limited to, renegotiation of more competitive rates, regional or global RFP’s, reduction of supply complexity, globalization and demand management.
--- Improve working capital performance by negotiating extended pay terms or by transitioning suppliers to a supply chain financing or P-card payment program.
--- Drive operational efficiency improvements through the onboarding of suppliers to preferred P2P portal, consolidated billing processes etc.
--- Work closely with Legal and Stakeholders to develop and execute new contracts or improve existing contracts all of which shall include performance metrics, preferred pay terms etc.
--- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through regular communication and value added involvement with their strategic suppliers and category.
--- Oversee the regular, cross-functional review and update of category related policies with key stakeholders.  Applicable policies include fleet, travel etc.
--- Develop and present on the status of cost reduction or working capital efforts, strategic projects or category strategies to executives, stakeholders and to the regions regularly.
--- Remain up to date on market and category trends and implement improvements accordingly.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
--- BS in Business Administration or related field of study.  MBA preferred. 6+ years of corporate level procurement experience managing indirect spend and/or professional services within industrial/ manufacturing organizations.
--- Strong analytical and presentation skills including PowerPoint and Excel.
--- Experience with ERP and SAP systems.
--- Proven internal and external negotiation skills and ability to work in a collaborative, global team environment that fosters aggressive and effective approaches to sourcing materials/services.
--- Excellent analytical/spend management skills and ability to produce accurate, professional and error-free analyses in a timely manner.
--- Ability to prioritize projects and multi-task to meet deadlines and business needs.
--- Excellent executive level presentation and written communication skills.
--- Exceptional negotiation and project management skills.
--- Ability to work without sponsorship within USA.
