Our client, a global pharmaceutical company has a new opportunity for a Director, Medical Publications and Communications professional in the Northeast. Looking for a leader to drive the publication and communication strategy for the pharmaceutical pipeline in a specific therapeutic area.
This full-time, onsite, highly visible role will engage key thought leaders while collaborating cross-functionally with project teams in  Medical Affairs and Clinical Development.  Position requires deep publications management expertise and the ability to plan and execute a communications strategy for the development and commercial pipeline, while building relationships with KOL’s.
  • Seeking ad individual that is very strategy/collaboration focused.  Responsible for driving and advancing ideas and collaborating with senior leaders on decision making strategy for development/commercial pipeline.
  • Experience developing and executing product launch strategy
  • Subject Matter Expert on publications / communications best practices, industry standard’s including ICMJE and GPP3
  • Contribute to global and regional communications strategy
  • M.D. , Ph.D, PharmD required
  • Expert knowledge of ICMJE standards and
  • Effective written communication skills including publications, medical communications, scientific writing
  • Ability to analyze and summarize data, think critically, and manage multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills including building and maintaining successful KOL and stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to lead and
  • 10+ years publications, medical writing, communications experience.  6+ years in a global pharmaceutical publications leadership role
  • Ability to travel 20%
