Client is a global leader in the design and manufacture of architectural lighting controls, shading solutions and energy management systems for high end residential and commercial building applications. The company is a mid-sized U.S. multinational that is profitable, growing quickly and has a worldwide reputation for cutting edge technology, quality and customer service.

This opportunity is open due to internal promotion and will report to the Global Experience Center Director at corporate headquarters in the US with a dotted line to the Experience Center Manager in Plantation, Florida. The Experience Center Representative will support all aspects of the showroom and work closely with sales, marketing, logistics and communication teams to make sure the companies customer experience is positive. 

·        Work closely with local center manager to support the day-to-day operations for Experience Center & Training Facility in Plantation, Florida 

·     Support communications and logistics for customer visits and trainings including:

o   Scheduling

o   Travel & transportation

o   Coordinate meals and catering

o   Assist with course registration support

o   Prep course materials, agendas & training room

o   Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries

o   Respond to general email in-box for center

·        Help plan and coordinate customer visits, training and special events

·        Help coordinate Experience Center and Training calendars and new project leads in SalesForce.com

·        Work closely with the Experience Center manager and the local sales force to follow up on new project opportunities that have been generated by the center

·        Work closely with center manager to identify and plan activities that will drive new customers into the Experience Center

·        Provide backup support for center manager to show, tell and sell Lutron solutions and how our solutions help the lives of our customers when he is not available

·        Developmental assignment with opportunity for growth into Experience Center leader or sales (18 – 24 months)

·        Stay aligned to the company's culture and values by being innovative, passionate, flexible, ethical and customer focused



·        Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications with 3.0 or better GPA

·        0-5 years work experience - retail or hospitality preferred

·        Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

·        Strong customer-facing skills, ability to present in front of groups, engage in dialogue and customize approach to meet customer’s unique communications and experience needs

·        Leadership skills – someone who regularly goes above and beyond to improve the showroom and customer experience

·        Highly organized; must be detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to successfully juggle multiple projects

·        Strong problem solving skills and ability to lead day to day projects 

·        Strong computer skills – MS Office Suite and Salesforce.com 

·        Additional language skills (Spanish and/or Portuguese) a plus

·        Up to 25% travel
