The Industry Manager, Sanitary is responsible for selling products and services meeting
to new and existing accounts in the food, beverage, dairy and pharmaceutical industries to achieve the sales order plan. Specific responsibilities include:
Apply key knowledge of markets and applications toward lead generation
Gather appropriate information and develop a plan to solve customer problems; includes choosing and sizing equipment, basic system design and relaying the correct info to internal support staff for proposal generation.
Manage global customer key accounts
Provide leadership and tactics to close orders
Generate client proposals
Bachelor’s degree required and engineering degree strongly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience to include selling capital equipment in food processing
Experience with or knowledge of 3-A standards strongly preferred
Proven sales ability in a highly technical & specified capital equipment role.
Ideal candidate will have established marketplace contacts and be able to deliver aggressive results.
Up to 50% travel, some international.
