Job Description:  The Industry Manager, Sanitary is responsible for selling products and services meeting 3-A standards to new and existing accounts in the food, beverage, dairy and pharmaceutical industries to achieve the sales order plan. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Apply key knowledge of markets and applications toward lead generation
  • Gather appropriate information and develop a plan to solve customer problems; includes choosing and sizing equipment, basic system design and relaying the correct info to internal support staff for proposal generation.
  • Manage global customer key accounts
  • Provide leadership and tactics to close orders
  • Generate client proposals 
 
Minimum Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree required and engineering degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience to include selling capital equipment in food processing
  • Experience with or knowledge of 3-A standards strongly preferred
  • Proven sales ability in a highly technical & specified capital equipment role. 
  • Ideal candidate will have established marketplace contacts and be able to deliver aggressive results.
  • Up to 50% travel, some international.
