Our client is an international dairy company that has a great opportunity for a maintenance trainer in Idaho. This person will have responsibility for the 1st shift maintenance team overseeing the planning and coordinating activities of the maintenance technicians. Good working knowledge of pumps, electrical, mechanical and PLC equipment.
The plant has been using a local Technical College for training of their mechanics.  They would like to go in house with a two year AA Maintenance Technician Program.
They are looking for someone who has held a similar role at a technical school that could work on the plant campus and set up and teach a two year program for them.
They are looking at yearly classes of between 4 and 8 selected mechanics.  The first year the instructor would only work with those people in year one of the training program.  In the second year those people advance and another 4 to 8 people would start.
At the end of the two year program those who completed the course would be awarded an Associate Degree.
This person would work with the plant to draw up the curriculum.
This person could be a retired individual or anyone with teaching experience in the maintenance area as it applies to food production equipment.  They are open to doing this on a contract basis as well.
